Lead Massage Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide leadership to massage therapists, fostering a positive, collaborative and supportive work environment.  Facilitate a unique and memorable guest experience by performing excellent quality massage and body services in a manner fitting the Dollywood Company brand.   

Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct trainings on massage therapy/body treatment protocols, draping techniques and treatment-room standards, ensuring a high level of comprehension and consistency in all areas.
  Provide massage therapy and body treatments with the possibility of additional licensed services.
  Comply at all times with evolving COVID-19 restrictions and practices, including the wearing of required PPE and enhanced cleaning and sanitization.
  Use proactive sales techniques, recommending and demonstrating retail product for each guest.
  Recognize guests and peers in a genuinely warm and friendly manner.
  Arrive to work on time and groomed to the required standard.
  Consistently begin and end services on time, leading by example.
  Maintain treatment room supplies, requesting inventory as needed.
  Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of the front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  Attend mandatory department trainings and meetings, facilitating topics as needed.
  Report maintenance issues promptly.
  Plan and coordinate education events for massage team.
  Assist with event planning and execution as well as special promotions.
  Help design treatment protocols.
  Complete retail and backbar inventories as needed.
  Achieve high-level of proficiency with Millennium booking software and assist with trainings and administrative maintenance.
  Assist with team scheduling and attendance compliance.
  Assist with approving payroll and commissions.
  Receive and organize retail and supply shipments.
  Assist with new-hire training plans.
  Coordinate food and beverage services for the Spa.
  Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and guest information.
